Welcome to WSG Swim

The World School Swim Championships is the premier international school swimming event anywhere on the planet, incorporating three days of non-stop action into one unforgettable experience.

The event is held in May at the incredible London Aquatics Centre in England - home of swimming at the 2012 Olympic Games - and allows students the unique opportunity to showcase their talents on the world stage.

WSG Swim 2027 is set to take place between 7-9 May, with parents, guardians, and spectators welcome to attend and celebrate the incredible talents of our young athletes. Those looking to do so can find all the necessary information below…

Travel and Accommodation Tips

  • Supporters should fly into London wherever possible, with six major international airports serving the city

     

  • Parents and spectators may stay in our official event accommodation during the event, though separate from school groups

     

  • WSG will provide official parents & spectators accommodation options and packages in advance of the Championships

     

  • Parents of participants from local schools - and those making their own accommodation arrangements - may also attend

Key Event Information

Parents, guardians, and supporters are welcome to attend The World School Swim Championships for a small fee, with ticket information to be publicised in due course. Spectators should familiarise themselves with the following information…

Spectators may attend WSG Swim on all three competition days, with seating available on a first come, first served basis. For security reasons, spectators will require a ticket to attend the Championships with more information to come in advance of the event.

The London Aquatics Centre is located to the east of London and within the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Stratford Cross, London (E20 2ZQ).

Spectators should enter the LAC from the London Stadium (west) side of the venue.

Parking is not available onsite, and travel by public transport is strongly advised.

The venue can be accessed by London Underground, overground, DLR, and National Rail services to Stratford International and Stratford stations. Both stations are a short walk from the London Aquatics Centre.

WSG Swim will be live streamed in full and free of charge via our YouTube Channel . Supporters can also follow all the action via our social media platforms.

Spectator Guidelines

To ensure the smooth running of WSG Swim, attending spectators should follow instructions from event staff and security personnel at all times.

Attendees should remain in areas designated for parents, guardians, and supporters at all times, and should refrain from attempting to interfere with participant activities.

Decisions made by Event Officials are final, and any abuse towards staff, coaches, athletes, or other personnel will not be tolerated.
