Welcome to WSG Olympia

World School Games Olympia is our flagship, multisport event - incorporating three days of athletics, football, and swimming into one celebration of sport and culture.

Thousands of young athletes from across the globe descend on Doha, Qatar to showcase their incredible talents on the world stage while representing themselves, their school, and their country.

Held at the breathtaking Aspire Zone, students will have the opportunity to live, train, and compete like professionals in one of the world’s most advanced sporting hubs. The all-encompassing 2.5 square kilometre facility can accommodate up to 13 different sports simultaneously, and played a key role in hosting the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Starting in 2018 and initially held in Dubai, UAE, our multisport event was the first in the Series and hosted ten incredibly successful editions before rebranding and relocating to Doha in 2026.

Aside from the action, we also pride ourselves on offering athletes unforgettable non-sporting experiences - such as extensive event media coverage, training and masterclass sessions with professional athletes, and optional team excursions.

How it works

A truly unique event, WSG Olympia incorporates three different sports (athletics, football & swimming) into one festival of good-natured, global sporting competition at one of the most impressive sporting venues on the planet.

As well as a number of individual accolades that are up for grabs over the weekend, every single race, match, throw, and jump counts as team results from all three disciplines are combined to crown the World Champions of School Sport.

The event is open to U11, U13, and U15 mixed gender squads from schools across the globe, with a minimum of 16 and a maximum of 28 students allowed per squad.

Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis, with payment of your team registration fee securing your spot at the relevant age group.
