The final WSG Event of the 2025/26 academic year is fast approaching, with The World Schools Netball Cup returning to Loughborough for its sixth edition this week!

A total of 26 schools from seven countries spanning four continents will take part in the prestigious event which is returning bigger, better, and more international than ever before.

We are especially delighted to this year welcome schools from countries such as Australia and Namibia, who have thus far not been represented at a WSG event.

WSG Netball is, once again, being hosted at Loughborough University's state-of-the-art facilities. Home of Loughborough Lightning and England Netball, the university's Sir David Wallace and Netball Centres provide the perfect stage on which our young players can showcase their talents to the world.

It all gets underway on Wednesday, with some of our schools taking part in training sessions and masterclass workshops with professional Loughborough Lightning players.

All eyes are then on the Sir David Wallace Centre on Wednesday evening. The World Schools Netball Cup 2026 Opening Ceremony will officially kickstart proceedings, before the first ever WSG Netball All-Star matches take centre stage.

These hugely exciting matches will bring all of our schools together as Team UK takes on Team ROW in U13, U15, and Senior age categories. Players from different schools will team up to represent their nations, and the scores from each game will carry over to eventually lead us to a WSG Netball All-Stars Champion.

The serious stuff then begins on Thursday, with a newly-extended two full days of Group Stage matches taking us into Saturday's Knockout Phase.

Schools will compete in U13, U15, and Senior age categories, and will progress into tiered knockout competitions as everyone gets the opportunity to take home some silverware.

The eventual Cup winners in each category will be crowned World Champions of School Netball at Saturday evening's Closing Ceremony.

We are delighted to once again confirm an extensive live stream offering for WSG Netball 2026! As well as our All-Star Matches on Wednesday, every single game that takes place on SDW Court 1 from Thursday to Saturday will be broadcast live on our YouTube Channel. A multi-camera feed and fantastic professional commentators will guide you through every twist and turn in this global competition, allowing friends and family to follow on from afar.

In-person spectators and teams enjoying some down time between matches should head over to our new WSG Netball Fanzone! Located in Shirley Pearce Square, the Fanzone will feature a number of activities and vendors - as well as a stage for special interviews and events hosted by Sky Sports presenter, Lucy Goodman, throughout the tournament.
