The World Schools Netball Cup is the world’s premier school netball tournament, incorporating four days of action into one unforgettable sporting and cultural experience.

The event is staged in June at Loughborough University - voted the best university for sport anywhere in the world - and allows students from different backgrounds to come together and compete on the international stage.

WSG Netball 2027 is set to take place between 22-25 June, with parents, guardians, and spectators welcome to attend and celebrate the incredible talents of our young players. Those looking to do so can find all the necessary information below…

Travel and Accommodation Tips

Supporters should fly into East Midlands Airport wherever possible, with Birmingham and Manchester Airports also nearby
Parents and spectators may stay in our official event accommodation during the event, though separate from school groups
WSG will provide official parents & spectators accommodation options and packages in advance of the event
Parents of participants from local schools - and those making their own accommodation arrangements - may also attend

Key Event Information

Parents, guardians, and supporters are welcome to attend The World Schools Netball Cup free of charge and should familiarise themselves with the following information…

Spectators may attend WSG Netball on all three competition days. Please note that bleacher seating in Sir David Wallace Centre will be available on a first come, first served basis for matches on Thursday and Saturday.

On Friday in SDW, and across all days in the Netball Centre, spectators will be required to view matches from the balcony. During the Opening Ceremony and Awards Presentations, priority for the available bleacher seating will be given to athletes and coaches.

Loughborough University is located on Epinal Way, Loughborough, LE11 3TU. Spectators should enter the campus via the East entrance on University Road where they will be directed to an appropriate car park. Matches will take place in the Sir David Wallace Sports Hall and the Netball Centre.

Pre-book Payment

Visit the Apcoa prebook website
Search for Loughborough University and choose date/time of visit.
Click “Book Now” on Loughborough University Car Parks.

ScanPay (on-arrival)

Arrive on campus and park your vehicle. Locate one of the QR codes displayed around the car park and scan using your mobile camera to visit the ScanPay website.
Select Loughborough University and enter your vehicle registration number.
Select date and duration of your stay.

Pay Machine (on-arrival)

There are five cashless pay machines on campus. These are located outside the swimming pool, in car park 9, car park 1, and there are two machines in Holywell car park – one outside Sir Denis Rooke and one towards Beach Park.

Loughborough University is well-connected by train, with direct services to London St Pancras. The Kinchbus Sprint service runs every 10-15 minutes from the railway station to the campus, connecting with the town centre.

Our Showcourt will be live streamed every day, with around 30 matches streamed over the course of the weekend. We will endeavour to ensure every school is featured at least once on the Showcourt.

The matches will be free to view on the WSG YouTube Channel. A selection of matches will also be filmed, to be made available on playback after the event.

Supporters can also stay up-to-date with all the action as it happens across the weekend via our social media platforms.

Spectator Guidelines

To ensure the smooth running of WSG Netball, attending spectators should follow instructions from event staff and security personnel at all times.

Attendees should remain in areas designated for parents, guardians, and supporters at all times, and should refrain from attempting to interfere with participant activities.

Decisions made by Event Officials are final, and any abuse towards staff, coaches, athletes, or other personnel will not be tolerated.
