World School Games Olympia is the flagship event in our Series, incorporating three different sports into one incredible sporting and cultural experience!

The event is held at the breathtaking Aspire Zone multisport complex in Doha, Qatar over three days in April, and allows students from all over the world to come together and compete on an international stage.

WSG Olympia 2027 is set to take place between 1-3 April, with parents, guardians, and supporters welcome to attend and celebrate the incredible talents of our young athletes. Those looking to do so can find all the necessary information below…

Travel and Accommodation Tips

Supporters should fly into Hamad International Airport wherever possible
Parents and spectators may stay in our official event accommodation during the event, though separate from school groups
WSG will provide official parents & spectators accommodation options and packages in advance of the Games
Parents of participants from local Doha schools - and those making their own accommodation arrangements - may also attend

Key Event Information

Parents, guardians, and supporters are welcome to attend World School Games Olympia free of charge and should familiarise themselves with the following information…

Spectators may attend WSG Olympia on all three competition days, with seating available on a first come, first served basis. While attendance is free of charge, spectators should fill out the online registration form circulated by our schools in advance of the Games.

The Aspire Zone is located on Al Waab Street in Doha, Qatar, with WSG Olympia taking place within the Aspire Dome. Spectators should enter the dome from the east and via ‘Aspire Gate 1’ as noted on Google Maps.

There are multiple parking options available within the immediate vicinity of the Aspire Dome, with spaces allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Taxis and Ubers are also a handy option for supporters, with all official event hotels within a 15-minute ride of the venue. Spectators should be dropped off at Aspire Gate 1 for quickest access to the official entrance.

There will be no official live stream offering for WSG Olympia. Supporters will, however, be able to stay up-to-date with all the action via our social media platforms and by watching our nightly round-up show Today at the Games.

Spectator Guidelines

To ensure the smooth running of WSG Olympia, attending spectators should follow instructions from event staff and security personnel at all times.

Attendees should remain in areas designated for parents, guardians, and supporters at all times, and should refrain from attempting to interfere with participant activities.

Decisions made by Event Officials are final, and any abuse towards staff, coaches, athletes, or other personnel will not be tolerated.
