The World Schools Dance Championship is the most unique dance competition anywhere in the world, incorporating competition, rehearsal, and workshops into one unforgettable event.

The event is staged at The Shaw Theatre in the heart of London, England, and allows students from across the globe to come together and compete on the international stage in our WSG Grand Show.

WSG Dance 2027 is set to take place between 25-28 February, with parents, guardians, and spectators welcome to attend the Grand Show and celebrate the incredible talents of our young dancers. Those looking to do so can find all the necessary information below…

Travel and Accommodation Tips

Supporters should fly into London wherever possible, with six major international airports serving the city
Parents and spectators may stay in our official event accommodation during the event, though separate from school groups
WSG will provide official parents & spectators accommodation options and packages in advance of the Championship
Parents of participants from local schools - and those making their own accommodation arrangements - may also attend

Key Event Information

Parents, guardians, and supporters are welcome to attend The World Schools Dance Championship for a small fee, with ticket information to be publicised in due course. Spectators should familiarise themselves with the following information…

Spectators may attend WSG Dance on the day of the Grand Show (Day Two), with seating available on a first come, first served basis. For security reasons, spectators will require a ticket to attend the show with more information to come in advance of the event.

The Shaw Theatre is located in central London at 110 Euston Road, London, NW1 2AJ and has capacity for 446 spectators.

Spectators should enter the theatre via Ossulston Street.

Parking is not available onsite, and travel by public transport is strongly advised.

The theatre is centrally located and well served by public transport, with St Pancras International and Kings Cross stations only a 3-5 minute walk away. Numerous bus routes also stop directly outside on Euston Road.

Every performance at the WSG Dance Grand Show will be live streamed in full and free of charge via our YouTube Channel. Supporters can also follow all the action across the event via our social media platforms, and can look forward to our post-event documentary.

Spectator Guidelines

To ensure the smooth running of WSG Dance, attending spectators should follow instructions from event staff and security personnel at all times.

Attendees should remain in areas designated for parents, guardians, and supporters at all times, and should refrain from attempting to interfere with participant activities.

Decisions made by Event Officials are final, and any abuse towards staff, coaches, athletes, or other personnel will not be tolerated.

Unfortunately due to the size of the studios, only students and staff are permitted to attend the workshops.

No, parents are not permitted to stay in the hotel with the students.
